Hey everybody, welcome back to another packed episode of The Next Issue! Things kick off with a little convention talk, 2013 will see some new shows pop up as well as all the old favorites. And the question is raised: is there such a thing as con season anymore? Then the guys wrestle with some of the fan reaction to Amazing/Superior Spider-Man and get a little spoilery in the process. From there it’s a ton of comics talk with reviews of Django Unchained, Brian Wood’s first issue of Star Wars, and Hellboy in Hell. What does death mean in comics? What does Previews mean for fandom? Can Mike talk about Mignola’s art and not use hyperbole? Find out!

We’re in the middle of a packed week over here at TNI HQ! Monday we released out talk with the masterminds behind Double Barrel Magazine Kevin Cannon and Zander Cannon. Those guys are doing some really awesome comics, if you haven’t checked out their work yet it is strongly encouraged you do so! Then yesterday was our fifty-fourth Pull List! And since it’s Wednesday, why not give it a quick listen before hitting the shop?

It’d be awesome if everyone headed over to NextIssuePodcast.com! That’s where you can find our episode archives, Twitter feed, and more. Be sure to check out The Next Issue podcast’s Facebook group, and please subscribe to our two feeds in iTunes! This one is for our regular episodes, and this one is for all our interviews and specials. If you’ve got a second, we’d sure appreciate it if you’d rate the show and leave a review.
