I’ve been trying to come up with a good opening line that makes a pun out aliens and journalism, but it’s just not happening so let’s get to meat of this. Action Labs has announced that they will be publishing Paul Allor’s new four issue miniseries with Juan Romera, titled “Strange Nation”. Following investigative journalist Norma Park, the series delves deep into the realm of the weird. Kind of like if the Daily Planet had an X-Files department, I guess. Even in the preview below we have robed druids, Sasquatches, aliens and a man with a Gorilla’s face. Or Gorilla with a man’s body.

Either way, check out the preview below including an exclusive fifth page from the “Strange Nation” tumblr.

So there you have it. “Strange Nations” by Paul Allor and Juan Romera hits later this year with an exclusive preview available at Emerald City Comic Con from Actions Labs.

Alice W. Castle

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
