The tagline for Alien infamously said, “In space, no can hear you scream,” and it’s something writer Declan Shalvey and artist Danny Earls have taken to heart for next week’s “Alien Annual.” Earls is a relative newcomer to comics, having been a soccer player until 2019, and as you can see in our exclusive preview, Shalvey has the utmost confidence in letting Earls’s gorgeous art do the talking.

ALIEN VS. ALIEN: PITY THE XENO! A Xenomorph queen and her hive descend on a dark world. They’re hungry – they’re always hungry – and stand poised to overrun this planet like they have so many others. Until the native life fights back. Declan Shalvey and Danny Earls deliver an action-packed story and show-stopping visuals in this standalone entry in the Alien mythos!

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and be sure to pick up the book – either safely in a store, or digitally – next week!
