This week sees the release of the trade paperback of “Archie and Katy Keene,” which collects the four-issue arc that introduces Katy Keene into modern Archie from Mariko Tamaki, Kevin Panetta, and Laura Braga. The character, which had been a part of “Archie” since 1945!, was recently spotlighted by a CW show of the same name, spun off from Riverdale, and so it seemed like a natural time to bring Katy back to the comics. For our preview of the trade paperback, in addition to the first full scene with Katy in modern continuity, we’ve also got some character designs by Laura Braga, as well as some decades-old fashion pages that haven’t been seen in a very long time!

There’s a new girl in Riverdale and she’s turning heads—and NOT everyone is happy about that! Who is Katy Keene and why is she so Insta-famous and beloved in Riverdale? And, moreover, why is she quickly becoming Archie’s biggest competition? Find out in this brand new collection from the creative team of writers Mariko Tamaki and Kevin Panetta and artist Laura Braga! Collects the full four-issue Archie and Katy Keene mini-series (Archie #710 – #713).

Thanks to Archie for the preview, and make sure to pick up the book wherever you get comics!
