With The Walking Dead‘s eleventh and final season premiere looming on the horizon, there’s no better time for a reflection on its legacy in the form of AMC Network, Skybound Entertainment, and Image Comics’s The Art of AMC’s The Walking Dead Universe. The book will include content such as never-before-seen sketches, concept art, storyboards, and more from all three shows.

We’re thrilled to bring an exclusive preview of the book that gives a glimpse at the development of Daryl Dixon’s (Norman Reedus) jacket and The Walking Dead‘s first walker, the iconic ‘Bicycle Girl,’ as well as artwork from behind-the-scenes of spin-off The Walking Dead: World Beyond, and artwork for the night of Fear the Walking Dead‘s season four premiere/The Walking Dead‘s season eight finale.

Thanks to Skybound for providing us with this preview, and be sure to grab the 240-page book at a comic shop on September 29, or at a bookstore on October 5. The cover by David Finch & Dave McCaig is exclusive to Skybound’s store, with a Yanick Paquette and Nathan Fairbairn cover edition exclusive to The Walking Dead Universe shop. The Walking Dead Season 11 will start on AMC+ on August 15, and begin airing on AMC on August 22.
