While Free Comic Book Day has become an institution that many non-comic readers are familiar with, Halloween ComicFest is not quite at that level yet. Essentially a combination of Halloween and Free Comic Book Day, Halloween ComicFest is the Saturday before Halloween (this year, October 27th), and features free comics, costume contests, and a great opportunity to get new faces into comic shops. Much like FCBD, there are a combination of reprint and original, exclusive stories produced to be given away at HCF. We are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the brand new book from Aspen Comics, “The Adventures of Aspen Mascots” #1, one of the four all-new books created for the event this year.

Along the way, the pair will discover different eras, allies-and enemies! Readers and fans alike will be able to color in the fun with added puzzles, exciting activities and more! Writer Vince Hernandez and artist Joie Foster team up to bring this fun-filled adventure to life!
