With this, its sixth issue, “Assassinistas” wraps up at IDW/Black Crown. It has been one of the most thoroughly enjoyable books of the year, and the pairing of Tini Howard and Gilbert Hernandez is one of the more inspired in recent memory. The book felt totally unlike your average floppy, and Black Crown really planned well to have this book be one of their launch titles, as it instantly made the imprint seem prestigious and exciting. While we are sad to see it go, we are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the sixth issue, which hits stores on July 4th.
