This week marks the sixth and last issue of IDW’s “Back to the Future: Tales From the Time Train.” Surprisingly, this follow-up to the ending of Back to the Future: Part III has only told one Tale of the Time Train, a screwball tale of suspense involving Doc Brown’s sons, German spies, and mistaken identities at the 1939 New York World’s Fair. This comic will also mark the current end of the “Back to the Future” comics overseen by John Barber and film trilogy co-writer Bob Gale, which through an ongoing and a couple of other miniseries, has explored various unseen events before, during, and after the movies. While IDW may return to the “Back to the Future” universe someday, for now enjoy this preview of the conclusion to the adventures of Doc Brown’s time-traveling family.

    Cover by Megan Levens
Plotted by Bob Gale and John Barber
    Scripted by John Barber
    Illustrated by Megan levens
    Colored by Charlie Kirchoff
    Lettered by Shawn Lee

With Jules and Verne held hostage by German spies, Doc and Clara must pull out all the stops to rescue their sons! Guest-starring Einstein! (Not that one, the other one!)

Thanks to IDW for the preview, and make sure to pick up the issue on Wednesday!
