Next week sees the release of Marvel’s first ever “Captain Marvel Annual,” and rather appropriately, it draws from a time when Carol Danvers wasn’t Captain Marvel, or even Ms. Marvel, but Binary, a member of the Starjammers. We are pleased to present an exclusive preview of the landmark issue, penned by longtime Jane Foster scribe Torunn Gronbekk with art by Carlos Gomez, which sees Carol reunite with her old friends… in prison!?

Captain Marvel… behind bars?! Carol has gotten herself into an intergalactic scale of trouble with the K’rasky military and now she’s locked up in their city-like prison… with the Starjammers. Will they be able to blast their way out? Or will they be lost to the authoritarian labyrinth of K’rasky law?

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and be sure to pick up the book – either safely in a store, or digitally – next week!
