By removing Selina Kyle from Gotham, “Catwoman” has really developed a tone all of its own. Whether illustrated by Joëlle Jones, Fernando Blanco, or this month’s guest artist Hugo Petrus, the series has a sleek, espionage-heavy tone that sets it apart from just about everything else DC is publishing. We are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the twelfth issue, due out on June 12th.

Chaos reigns in Villa Hermosa as all the bad guys in town rush to fill the void left by the Creel family’s ouster. But as Raina Creel’s dark plot to resurrect her son comes to a gruesome crescendo, Catwoman may finally be able to put her foe down once and for all. That is, if she can reconcile her own past and find her footing again.

Thanks again to DC for the preview, and make sure to pick up the issue on Wednesday!
