Next week brings the ending of Brian Michael Bendis’ and Oliver Coipel’s event comic Siege, a comic that promises the beginning of The Heroic Age and a significant change to the status quo of the Marvel universe. If the first three issues are any indicator, it will also be massively entertaining and filled with what is likely the greatest event in the history of comics: the death of The Sentry.

CBR has a five page preview up, and it’s filled with spoilers that would be way more spoiler-y if we hadn’t already seen the same stuff in the most recent issues of Mighty Avengers and New Avengers. It looks like we’re going to get all kinds of awesome, like battles, sacrifices, and a big death that will be the biggest death in comics since the last death (X-Force #26 I suppose).
