“Cosmic Scoundrels” is the latest book from Andy Suriano, a creator with lots of experience in television, who brings both a freewheeling, everything goes approach to comics, as well as a sharp sense of humor. “Cosmic Scoundrels” began its life as self-published, oversized books (which are a treat if you can track ’em down), and now they are coming to the masses via IDW. The book is co-written by Matt Chapman, co-creator of Homestar Runner, so if you’re of a certain age, you owe this guy a ton of gratitude for some amazing early web content you binged a lot in high school/college.
