It is amazing to think that Steve Niles first created “Criminal Macabre” thirty years ago. Cal McDonald has been a mainstay in comics for longer than many of our staff has been alive. Gyula Nemeth is handling art in this miniseries, after folks like Kelley Jones, Ben Whiting, and Ben Templesmith have previously illustrated these stories before. It is our pleasure to share an exclusive preview of the second issue of the newest “Criminal Macabre” miniseries, “The Big Bleed Out,” due out on January 8th.

Cal McDonald’s fling with a seductive vampire continues as his ghoul companion, Mo’Lock, is drawn to investigate a series of grisly murders. But with Cal distracted, can Mo’Lock uncover the source of violence and come out unscathed?
