Since getting the Star Wars license back, Marvel has produced two “Darth Vader” series. The second, currently running, has been shepherded by Charles Soule (“Daredevil, “Letter 44”), and is adding lots of depth and nuance to what has, too many times, been an one-note character in comics. Joined through most of this run by Giuseppe Camuncoli (“Amazing Spider-Man,” “Wolverine”), the two creators have forged a distinctive voice for the series which, at times, has rivaled even the main “Star Wars” title for the spotlight among the Lucasfilm properties. We are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the twentieth issue of the series, which hits your local shop on August 22nd.
