Few publishers have as solid of a history in dealing with horror than Dark Horse, and “Death Head” fits nicely into that tradition. Described as “a supernatural-horror thriller about family and creeping, terrifying murder,” the series’second issue comes out tomorrow, but we’ve got an exclusive first look at the third issue, which comes out on September 16.

Written by Zack Keller and Nick Keller
Illustrated by Joanna Estep

Driven by a compulsion to understand the mask he found in the woods, Niles heads to Reyes—the mysterious seaside town that he sees in his visions. Lately, the town has been plagued by unexplained suicides, so a curious visitor is the last thing that residents want. Finding the truth won’t be easy . . . because some evils should never be unmasked.

Thank you, Dark Horse, for the preview, and make sure to catch up on “Death Head” #1, buy “Death Head” #2 tomorrow, and keep your eyes peeled for #3 in September.
