One of our favorite debuts of the year, “Pretty Deadly” came on the shelves and made all kinds of excellent noise of varying frequencies two weeks ago to comic fans all over. And who can deny the excitement and excellence that it brought? Between the wonderful mix of Kelly Sue DeConnick’s words over the astounding collaboration between Emma Rios and Jordie Bellaire, “Pretty Deadly” gave us some of the best of what comics can offer.

And today, Image shared a look at the second issue, which we now rather excitedly share with you here:

Oh man. I know I for one can’t wait to see what comes next in this issue.

Here’s the official solicit:

The Old West is steeped in violence and strange magic in this macabre tale from the team behind the cult-hit miniseries Osborn, KELLY SUE DeCONNICK (Captain Marvel) and EMMA RÍOS (Dr. Strange). Gunfighters have it out with swords as the whole world burns. There will be blood, blood, blood.

“Pretty Deadly” goes on sale at the end of the month.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
