Wednesday sees the release of “Detective Comics” #42, the second issue of the Jim Gordon as Batman era of “Detective.” DC Comics has given us an exclusive look inside of Wednesday’s issue, which sees Bat-Jim (Gord-Bat?) deal with the first, of what will surely be many, targeted attacks against the new bat-suit.

Written by Brian Buccellato and Francis Manapul
Illustrated by Fernando Blanco

The all-new Batman tries to find his place in Gotham City! But how can he manage his already uneasy relationship with the GCPD?

Thanks again to DC, and make sure to pick up the issue on July 1!
