‘League of Shadows’ has been a fascinating arc of “Detective Comics,” as it does two things that are very hard to pull off simultaneously: it feels truly world-affecting for the characters, but it doesn’t trade in hyperbole. One of the problems with team books is that the conflicts often feel so overblown and huge, due to the need for a team to take them down. This doesn’t feel that way; the conflict feels serious and real, but it doesn’t seem overdone at all, unlike many other team books. We are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at “Detective Comics” #955, which comes out on April 26th.
