“Dial H for Hero,” along with “Wonder Twins,” got bumped from 6 to 12 issues earlier this year. This is good news for all involved, as both as incredibly fun series with a lot of untapped potential. This week, “Dial H” #7 hits stores, but the issue isn’t quite what we had been led to believe. Along with regular series artist Joe Quinones, who provides the frame of the issue, four guest artists do segments of this book. Along with DC veterans Colleen Doran (“Sandman,” “A Distant Soil”) and Michael Avon Oeming (“Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye,” “Powers), two first-time DC artists join the party: Erica Henderson (“The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl,” “Jughead”) and Stacey Lee (“Silk,” “America”). Below is a page from each of their sections, followed by additional exclusive pages from the book.

Now a 12-issue series! What happened when Metropolis became the city of a thousand heroes? Get the inside story through the eyes of the ordinary people transformed by the powerful H-Dial into heroes you’ve never seen before!

Thanks to DC for the preview, and make sure to pick up the issue on Wednesday!
