Of all the characters that got films in the Marvel Studios era, Doctor Strange seemingly got the least boost from the box office popularity. Perhaps that is a comment on the quality of the film, or the nature of the character, because it certainly hasn’t been for lack of quality creators on the title. Currently, the ‘Loki: Sorcerer Supreme’ story has been one of Marvel’s best arcs of ‘Legacy,’ and Donny Cates continues to establish himself as one of the premiere writers in all of comics with this tale. Throw in the great Gabriel Hernandez Walta, and the fact that Loki remains one of Marvel’s most bankable villains, and you’ve got something really special. If you’re not reading this, what’s your excuse?

We are thrilled to bring an exclusive preview of the fifth part of that arc, “Doctor Strange” #385, which hits stores next Wednesday, February 14th.

LOKI: SORCERER SUPREME PART 5! Get ready for a super-powered wizard’s duel in the Mighty Marvel Manner! Loki, Lord of Liars, versus Stephen Strange, the former Sorcerer Supreme! And this time, way more is on the line than the title. Will Loki gain the spell so dangerous, Stephen even hid it from himself? And how will Strange pay for the magic he’ll need to defeat a god?

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and make sure to pick up the issue next week!
