Last week, Star Wars fans said adieu to “Bounty Hunters,” a comic that had been running since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now we must bid farewell to another ongoing that has helped us through lockdown, “Doctor Aphra.” We are proud to present an exclusive preview of the final issue of Alyssa Wong and Minkyu Jung’s run, which promises an emotional (and strikingly reflective) close to the scoundrel archaeologist’s story… at least for now. (You never know where or when a Star Wars character might turn up next.)

Written by Alyssa Wong
Art by Minkyu Jung
Colored by Rachelle Rosenberg
Lettered by VC’s Joe Caramagna

NIGHT AS DAY! The TAGGE FLEET burns. The GALAXY reels. DOCTOR APHRA is alone. But as she explores an ancient ruin on a desolate planet, Aphra may find the answers she’s been hunting for her entire life. Is this the end for DOCTOR APHRA?!

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and be sure to pick up the book – either safely in a store, or digitally – next week!
