For thirteen years, “Fables” was one of the most prominent members of Vertigo’s publishing line. A sort of bridge between the ‘classic’ and modern eras of the imprint, “Fables” ran for 150 issues and has spun off into “Ever After: From the Pages of Fables,” a companion book that continues to tell tales from the universe created by Bill Willingham and Lan Medina. We are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the seventh issue of the series, which features Mark Buckingham, one of the artists most associated with the property.

FABLES legends return! Guest artist Mark Buckingham joins the creative team for a closer look at the revelations of FABLES #150. Feathertop meets with Maddy to collect his newest and most volatile recruit from the Totenkinder Memorial School of Magic: a powerful Mundy turned Fable. But as Maddy reveals more of the young warlock’s checkered history, a shadow is cast on his future as a Shadow Player.

Thanks again to DC, and make sure to pick up the issue on Wednesday!
