It’s really hard not to start any Adventure Time related post with “What time is it?”, but we’ll refrain here for now.
Next week sees the latest release of the secondary “Adventure Time” title, currently made up by the “Candy Capers” mini-series in which Peppermint Butler (who frightens me) and Cinnamon Bun (who just makes me sad) team up to solver the case of where Finn and Jake have gone as if they were real detectives — although this isn’t your normal “BMO Noir.” Up until now the series had actually been split a bit in focusing on other characters teaming up, sort of like an Adventure Time mix and match of who can get along the least with whom — but not anymore. Now the Butler and the Bun are out in the wild, and the results are predictably comical and also a little scary (because Peppermint Butler is insane).

Each issue is great for fans by itself but for series readers, it’ll only be a matter of time before the truth finally comes out.
