If you read the latest installment of our “Soliciting Multiversity – Best of the Rest” column covering all of the miscellany that you can find in the Diamond Previews catalogue every month, you may have noticed that we put Action Labs’ “Planet Gigantic” on the list. That’s because writer Eric Grissom and artist David Halvorson’s new series looks like pure adventure. After all, how could launching a couple of superpowered kids into space with nothing or no one but themselves and their wits to save them be anything but a good time?

“Planet Gigantic” #1 (AUG140943)
Written by Eric Grissom
Illustrated by David Halvorson

When two genetically-engineered teenagers crash-land on a strange planet, they must learn to rely on themselves and their still-developing powers as they face down a giant rock monster. Also in this issue: Lyana the Seeker braves a cursed tomb in search of the fabled Eye of the Sun.

“Planet Gigantic” hits shops October 15th. Grissom, Halvorson, and our friends at Action Labs were kind enough to provide us some exclusive preview pages. Take a look at those pages below:
