Last month, we chatted with Nate Cosby and Ben McCool about the first arc of Pigs, as well as gave you a brief exclusive preview of the fifth issue. Now, as the second arc begins, we’re here to give you even more, as we give you an exclusive first look at the next issue.

Pigs #5 kicks off the second arc of the book with a sinister new character and a dynamite cover by Dave Gibbons, and finds the gang attempting to break into prison on orders for a new mission. As you may have heard, the sixth issue of the book caused some light bit of controversy due to the swastika covered book (which we discussed with Cosby and McCool in our chat), and you’ll get your first look at the reason behind the cover in this issue, and please, allow us to tease you for a moment — it is quite a doozy.

The solicit information is as follows:

story NATE COSBY & BEN McCOOL
art BRENO TEMURA
cover DAVE GIBBONS

“SAN QUENTIN BLUES”

For an exclusive nine-page preview, check behind the cut, and look for the book on sale in shops next week.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
