Last month, “Wonder Woman” celebrated its 750th issue, a milestone that few comics get to reach. One month later, we’re here with #751, but there is an interesting connection between this issue and another milestone. Way back in 1983, “Wonder Woman” was celebrating its 300th issue, and it featured a murderer’s row of artistic talent: Keith Giffen, Gene Colan, Dick Girodano, and more. Included in that roll call of artistic heavyweights was Jan Duursema, also known for her work on books like “Warlord,” “Sgt. Rock,” and “Batman.”
37 years may have passed, but Duursema is still cranking out quality art, and she is the artist on next week’s issue of “Wonder Woman,” of which we are thrilled to present an exclusive preview.
