The fine folks at DC/Vertigo have offered us an exclusive first look at “Slash and Burn” #3, which comes out January 13. The series, one of a slew of new books that Vertigo has been putting out since the fall, centers around a pyromaniac who, in an attempt to quell her addiction, joins the fire department.

There’s an arsonist on the loose, and the victims are all figures from Rosheen Haye’s hidden past. With a police detective nosing around in her business, and the body count rising, the one-time pyromaniac-turned-firefighter is starting to worry that the elephant in the room will turn out to be her.
