Did you read last week’s absolutely incredible open to Greg Rucka, Michael Lark and Santi Arcas’ Lazarus? This Image Comics series opened to rave reviews and sell outs at a distributor level, and with good reason: it is one of the best debuts of the year. We knew it would be good, with Rucka and Lark working on it, but the nuanced storytelling and dystopian future they’re building looks like it could to something that’s more than the sum of its parts.

Today, right on the precipice of Image Expo, we have a first look at part of the second issue that is arriving on July 24th. Directly from artist Lark, right after being colored by Arcas, we have four pages of unlettered art, and they’re perfect for how brilliant this book is from a storytelling standpoint: the first three pages are all wordless anyways.

Check them out, and share with your friends. This is a book that is not to be missed.
