There is something very, very satisfying about seeing a series and its creators perfectly paired up. “Gotham City Monsters” is just that for Steve Orlando and Amancay Nahuelpan. Nahuelpan’s art is equal parts superhero sparkle and horror sludge, placing the book firmly where it needs to be, visually. And Orlando’s playfulness in scripting keeps the book from getting overly dark for no reason. What comes from these two is one of the most fun and dynamic books on the shelves. We are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the book’s penultimate issue, #5, which hits stores on January 8th.

Melmoth has summoned the Monster League of Evil from the depths of the Multiverse to serve as his minions and destroy the Gotham City Monsters. Dracula, the Wolfman, the Mummy and…Frankenstein?! It’s Frank versus Frank in this showdown to save the Multiverse as we know it!

Thanks to DC for the preview, and make sure to pick up the issue on Wednesday!
