Although their departure has been announced for January, we still have a few more issues of “Green Arrow” under the pens of Julie Benson and Shawna Benson. The sister-writing pair, who wrote “Batgirl and the Birds of Prey” earlier in ‘Rebirth,’ have been focused on Green Arrow and Black Canary as a pairing throughout their truncated run, and this issue is no different. Joined by German Peralta (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Cable”), the Bensons’ penultimate issues hits stores on Wednesday. We’ve got an exclusive first look at that issue, #46, today.

Green Arrow finds himself in the crosshairs and caught in a crossfire: on one side, would-be populist vigilante Citizen, who’s out to make the one percent pay. On the other, the citizens of Seattle, who mob Green Arrow wherever he goes. While Black Canary investigates Citizen’s real identity, Oliver’s corporate lawyer and confidant Kate Spencer deals with a free-falling Queen Industries. It’s not a good time to be Oliver Queen OR Green Arrow…until our hero becomes taken with an insane plan to thwart Citizen once and for all.

Thanks to DC for the preview, and make sure to pick up the issue on Wednesday!
