PART 1: “The New Pioneers’ Trail”
An English translation of Glénat’s U.C.C. DOLORES

It’s a great day for Sister Mony. At 18, it is time for this orphan taken in at the door of the New Pioneers convent, to leave the nest and find her way. But barely propelled into the outside world, the young girl discovers that she is the heiress of a Confederate army battlecruiser that belonged to a sinister General! Unable to maneuver such a machine, Mony goes in search of a pilot and finds Kash, a taciturn veteran eager to change his life. Together they take control of the Dolores, a ship with a mysterious past. It’s a thrilling space odyssey along the lines of Star Wars, Firefly, and Cowboy Bebop.

Thanks to Heavy Metal for the preview, and make sure to pick up this issue!
