“The Incal” is on the shortlist for ‘best comic of all time,’ if such a designation can even be given. The book, by Alejandro Jodorowsky and Mœbius, is just one piece of both creators’ portfolios, but would be considered a worthy life’s work for countless others. Earlier this year, Humanoids announced new books and reprints from Jodorowsky and “The Incal” world. Today, we are sharing the first of two exclusives from that partnership between Jodorowsky and Humanoids.

Last week, “The Incal: Psychoverse” debuted. The graphic novel, written by Mark Russell (“The Flintstones,” “Second Coming”) and illustrated by Yanick Paquette (“Terra Obscura,” “Wonder Woman: Earth One”), is a prequel to “The Incal,” and we are thrilled to share an exclusive look at five of the pages.

Written by Mark Russell
Illustrated by Yanick Paquette

In a shocking and explosive prequel to the legendary and best-selling INCAL saga, prepare to enter…the Psychoverse.

A realm made of pure potential and possibility known as the Psychoverse has declared war on all material reality, and the only ones who can save it are the deadly Metabaron, the swashbuckling Kill Wolfhead, and the bumbling John Difool.

Thanks to Humanoids for the preview, and come back tomorrow for a second preview from Humanoids!
