Marvel’s record with Asian characters is mixed, to put it gently: take Iron Fist for example, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction and David Aja’s “Immortal Iron Fist” is easily one of the best modern Marvel runs, but Danny Rand’s ethnicity was an albatross that became especially detrimental by the time he made his MCU debut. (Though the terrible first season of his show can’t have helped.) But we now have a new Iron Fist, courtesy of Alyssa Wong and Michael Yg, and (please stop reading if you don’t know who he is) he’s Lin Lie, the Agent of Atlas formerly known as Sword Master. We are proud to present an exclusive preview of his sophomore outing, due out next week.
