Z2 has become the undisputed home for comics based on music, especially heavy music. Later this month, they’re releasing a new book featuring comics, prose, and pinups celebrating Iron Maiden’s classic Piece of Mind album. The list of talent on it includes Maiden’s iconic singer Bruce Dickinson, as well as a who’s who of metal heads and comics talent. We are thrilled to share three pages from the story “Where Eagles Dare,” written by Steven Grant (“The Punisher”) and illustrated by Carson Thorn (“Batman the Barbarian”).
