One of Marvel’s most celebrated new characters sees her original creative team depart after many years writing the character in this week’s “Jessica Jones” #18. Brian Michael Bendis not only wrote the book for many years, but also co-created the character, which has skyrocketed in popularity since the Netflix series debuted. With Bendis’s departure, it will give some new writers an opportunity to write the book, but his Marvel departure must be seen as a sea change in the character’s history. Although it is hard to imagine it so, as Bendis is still a relatively young man, this may be the last time he gets to write Jessica Jones. And that’s a big deal.

We are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at Bendis’s “Jessica Jones” swan song, #18, which hits stores on March 28th.

As the creators of Jessica Jones leave her to an all-new team, they bid her farewell with one last very special story – a truly incredible tale that no one ever gets to see. Be here for an unforgettable issue that ties threads together from all over the amazing Marvel Universe.

Thanks again to Marvel for the preview, and make sure to pick up the comic next week!
