Speaking of Power Girl, a new issue of Justice Society of America by Willingham comes out this week. It’s been a fun ride so far, and the JSA have done a good job of pounding nazi’s and being pounded by nazi’s. It makes for a very nice throwback to the older stories while maintaining a very modern sensibility. Plus, the odd way they’re telling this story makes it extra intriguing! It’s been nice having a general sense of stability in this book to be quite honest. And now you can take a look at this week’s upcoming issue with a new preview from DCU’s The Source:

Written by BILL WILLINGHAM; Art by JESUS MERINO and JESSE DELPERDANG; Cover by JESUS MERINO

The war takes a turn for the worse for the JSA as the enemy fires up their super power-negating “Darkness Engine.” But the terror rises when the team learns that the machine is powered by the black egg that used to be their colleague Obsidian!

Issue #37 goes on sale this week for $2.99. Expect a good deal of either a) death b) Nazi’s and b) ass-kicking. Perhaps some kind of combo, as well.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
