Perhaps we’re stating the obvious, but “Kingsman” co-creator Mark Millar is a rather big James Bond fan, and his newest series with Matteo Scalera, “King of Spies,” reads like a counterpiece to the young Eggsy’s adventures, exploring what happens when a retired spy becomes disillusioned with his life of duty to Queen and country. We are pleased to present an exclusive preview of the second issue, out this week.

Written by Mark Millar
Art by Matteo Scalera
Colored by Giovanna Niro
Lettered by Clem Robins

The world’s greatest secret agent is murdering every crooked politician and spymaster he blames for the world we’re in right now, a killing spree that takes him to presidents and prime ministers in a race against the brain tumor that’s killing him. He’s literally the world’s most wanted man, and only the person he loves most can take him down.

Thanks to Millarworld for the preview, and be sure to pick up the book – either safely in a store, or digitally – this Wednesday!
