You never know what ideas will stick and succeed; last year’s “Batman/Elmer Fudd Special” #1 was voted our best single issue of 2017. Now, whether or not you agree with that decision, it goes to show just how surprising the issue was. This week sees another pairing of Looney Tunes and DC characters, and we’ve got the exclusive first look at “Lex Luthor/Porky Pig Special” #1, coming to us from the creative team of Mark Russell (“The Flintstones,” “Prez”) and Brad Walker (“Aquaman,” “Superman”). In a series that has seen unusual pairings, this may be the least, on the surface, intuitive pairing.

Facing financial and personal ruin, a desperate Porky Pig applies for and gets an entry-level position with LexCorp. Grateful to his new benefactor, Porky becomes Luthor’s most loyal employee and defender. But when a major scandal breaks in the news and Lex is called before a Congressional Committee, guess who is about to be offered up as the sacrificial pig?

Thanks again to DC for the preview, and make sure to pick up the issue on Wednesday!

T-t-t-t-t-that’s all, folks!
