A few years ago, Cosmic Marvel was all the rage. “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Nova,” two titles written by a singular creative team, constantly intertwined and crossed paths with one another, delivering a cohesive section of the Marvel U that fans could sink their teeth into and enjoy separate of everything else Marvel was producing.

But then it ended. Sad trombones.

But now it’s back! And while most fans are anticipating this new “Guardians” book in additional anticipation towards the upcoming feature film, “Nova” is up in the air for a lot of people. For some, its the new character; for others, the creative team; for even more additional others. Yet this new Nova is here to say, his place in the Avengers is solidified at the end of “AvX,” and his importance is only just slightly beginning to be revealed.

With rumors of a big Marvel Cosmic something-or-rather coming up in the cards as well as some light early buzz that “Nova” is quite great, isn’t it about time you made up your own mind? It is? Good. Then here’s a preview:

“Nova” goes on sale at the end of next month. For the full press release from Marvel Comics, please see below.
