Brian Buccellato is one of the recent examples of colorists turned writers, making a real name for himself on his co-writing of “The Flash” in the New 52, aside Francis Manapul. “Lowlifes” represents a different type of book for Buccellato, who has been expanding his scope beyond superheroes for a few years now. This is a down and dirty crime story, whose title tells you all you need to know about the main characters, or at least how they are perceived to the outside world. We are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the third issue, which hits stores on August 8.
