For me personally, Marvel’s upcoming Astonishing Spider-Man/Wolverine series has to be one of my most anticipated books. The combination of writer Jason Aaron and artist Adam Kubert is a superb one, and the fact that they’re working on two characters whom they paired together quite well in Spider-Man and Wolverine really gets me excited (see: Wolverine #73 and #74).
Today at Marvel they have a five page preview up of this series, and it pretty much seals the deal for me that this series will be an awesome blend of absurdity and hilarious hijinks between these two poorly matched heroes. Aaron talked to us in February about this series, and I continue to just get more and more excited about its prospects.
Astonishing Spider-Man/Wolverine #1 is set to hit store May 5th of this year.
