Marvel Rising is an initiative to bring in new readers through some of Marvel’s breakout, younger heroes, like Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, and America through comics, animation, and more. We love all-ages content here at Multiversity, and think this is a really cool idea. On top of that, the issue that we are previewing here is being released free to comic stores next week. We are thrilled to share this exclusive preview of “Marvel Rising” #0, which you can pick up for zero dollars on Wednesday, April 25th.

Lettered by VC’s Clayton CowlesThis April SQUIRREL GIRL meets MS. MARVEL – for the very first time! When Doreen Green (also known as the unbeatable Squirrel Girl) volunteers as head counselor for an extra-curricular computer programming camp, little does she know that junior counselor Kamala Khan moonlights as crime fighting super hero Ms. Marvel! But this coding camp is more than just ones and zeros when A.I.M. makes an appearance! Will our heroes be able to save the campers without blowing their secret identities? Join Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, America, Inferno, and Patriot as they learn exactly what it means to be a young hero in the Marvel Universe – and what it means to be a hero to each other.
Thanks again to Marvel for the preview, and make sure to pick up the issue next week!
