In case the name of our site wasn’t clear enough, we are big fans of stories that take us through the multiverse. “Miranda in the Maelstrom” from Action Lab is not just a multiversal adventure tale, but also one that switches artists for each issue, representing a shift in universes. It’s a fun idea, made even more fun by the ‘transition’ page in each issue, which features both the outgoing and incoming artist sharing a page. We are thrilled to present an exclusive preview of the third issue, due out on February 3.

Eager to help and begin a life of adventure, Miranda joins the crew as their new spear girl. But when this bedtime story goes from dream job to nightmare mutiny, Miranda and Noodles find the pirate’s life is not for them.
