Of all the the ‘Young Animal’ books, “Mother Panic” had the most direct connection to the DC Universe, with the book taking place in Gotham and featuring various Bat characters. Jody Houser and Tommy Lee Edwards have created a world that feels like Gotham, but not; darker, more mysterious, and a little seedier (which is hard to pull off in DC’s grimmest city). We are thrilled to share an exclusive preview of the fourth issue of the series, due out on March 8th, which features guest art from Shawn Crystal.
