Announced at New York Comic Con, “Nice Jewish Boys” is a new crime series at comiXology. The series, written by Neil Kleid (“Savor”) and illustrated by John Broglia (“God Complex”), takes place in New Jersey (woot) and focuses on a regular guy who gets drawn into the world of crime. We’re thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the second issue, due out on December 5.

Edited by Sarah Litt

Torn between religious ethics, loyalty to his friends, and a desire to stay out of prison, Jake balances a stressful existence as he lies to his family, covers for Chaim, and slowly navigates a life of crime as part of the Avodah. Though ashamed by his secret career, he’s even more torn by how adept he’s become in its execution and the effect it may have at home—not to mention how much he’s starting to enjoy it…

Thanks to comiXology for the preview, and make sure to pick up the issue next week!
