We teased you about it months ago, broke the news to you this weekend, and even shared the video announcement of the news. Now we at Multiversity are very pleased to share with you the following preview for Brubaker and Philips’ new book, Fatale. The book is incredibly highly anticipated here at Multiversity, as Brubaker and Philips now have an amazing track record between Sleeper, Criminal and Incognito. We can safely assume this will be just as great, if not better than, all of those titles.

The solicit for the title is as follows:

FATALE #1
story ED BRUBAKER
art & cover SEAN PHILLIPS
colors DAVE STEWART

GUNS! SEX! SECRET CULTS! AND MONSTERS!
Nothing the BEST-SELLING and AWARD-WINNING creators of SLEEPER, CRIMINAL and INCOGNITO have done so far will prepare you for the explosive debut of FATALE!
A reporter in 2012 stumbles on a secret that leads him down the darkest path imaginable… to a seductive woman who’s been on the run since 1935, a mobster who may be an immortal demon monster, and the stories of all the doomed men who’ve been caught in their decades-long struggle.

FATALE blends noir and horror to tell a riveting epic unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Check after the cut for a three-page tease of what is to come.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
