Original “30 Days of Night” writer Steve Niles continues to explore the world he and artist Damien Worm created in “The October Faction: Supernatural Dreams,” the third October Faction comic book series since 2014. “The October Faction,” which was originally an ongoing title that ran for eighteen issues from October 2014 to July 2016, told the story of retired monster slayer Frederick Allan and his family. Another five-issue series, “The October Faction: Deadly Season,” followed from October 2016 to February 2017, and “Supernatural Dreams,” which began last month, sees the family coping with managing the family business now that Fred Allan has fully hanged up the profession, and not a moment too soon: a terrifying villain is on the loose. We are happy to share a preview of the second issue from IDW Publishing, which will be released this Wednesday.
