A decade ago, it was tough to be an Echo fan: despite being a member of the New Avengers and the original Ronin, she was neglected after 2008’s ‘Secret Invasion,’ and got unceremoniously killed off in Bendis and Maleev’s “Moon Knight” series — now she’s the Phoenix, and getting her own Disney+ show. We are pleased to present an exclusive preview of “Phoenix Song: Echo” #3, due out from Marvel next week.

THE ANCESTRAL PHOENIX OF CAHOKIA! On the run from a time-hopping enemy, Echo and her ally River find themselves in the ancient city of Cahokia — in the path of a Phoenix lost to history! As Echo’s present and future disappear, will her powers wane? And will this ancestor help… or take the dregs of Echo’s fire for herself?

Thanks to Marvel for the preview, and be sure to pick up the book – either safely in a store, or digitally – next week!
