Back in September, we told you about how Matt Fraction and Nathan Fox would be working on a “We Got Him!” comic for GQ Magazine, detailing about how Osama Bin Laden was found and killed. There was no additional confirmation of the news, however, until we talked to Nate Fox at NYCC and he confirmed that the comic would be happening, would be out in the December issue and would be somewhat controversial (obviously).

Now, GQ’s December issue (the Man Of The Year issue, featuring everyone’s favorite new Magneto, Michael Fassbender) is out on news stands all over the country, and within it is the five page story by Fraction and Fox, with colors by Jeromy Cox. It’s an interesting little piece, detailing the attack both from Osama’s perspective (written mostly in the third person) and the incoming soldiers.

You can head out to your local CVS or whatnot to find it now — but to tease you, how about a preview of the unlettered and uncolored pages by Nate Fox? Yeah. We knew you’d like that.

Check behind the cut for the other four pages, and if you are interested, you can head to Cadence Comic Art to purchase the original pages if you are so inclined. The final page, featuring Osama being shot, is running or $600 right now, but will assumedly be a piece of Americana before you know it, so you might as well be the person to own it.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
