Next week doesn’t just bring the end of Siege, but the ending of one of the most beloved Avengers runs as Brian Michael Bendis’ New Avengers wraps up Wednesday. At least it’s going out in epic fashion, with a 64 page finale that brings the talents of Bryan Hitch onboard to wrap up a number of plot threads that were hanging from the series.
Of course, a new New Avengers title is launching shortly thereafter, so we won’t be without them for too long. Still, epic comics from Bendis and Hitch should always been received with open arms, and my arms are open folks (even with a really odd cover, including a bizarre looking Wolverine and a hilarious baby Cage on Jessica Jones back). Don’t forget to read Siege #4 first though!
